In this article, we are going to be covering how to summon Terraria Mechdusa using Ocram’s Razor, so you can face and defeat this new boss added in 1.4.4.
The new Terraria 1.4.4 update was released yesterday (September 28th) by Re-Logic developers. The current version contains new modifications, balance changes, and different fixes, according to the official Terraria patch notes. But what caught many players by surprise was the fact that the game added a new mech boss, one that is more powerful than all of them, Terraria Mechdusa. Here, you’ll find out what this new boss is all about and how you can summon her in the game.
The entire planet is at your disposal as you battle for survival, money, and glory. Will you journey deep into vast voids in pursuit of wealth and raw materials to construct ever-changing gear, machines, and aesthetics? Perhaps you will instead seek out ever-greater adversaries to put your battle skills to the test. Perhaps you’ll decide to build your own city to shelter the slew of intriguing companions you’ll meet along the way. The option is yours in the World of Terraria. If you want to check out the game, make sure you visit the official Steam Store page.
How to summon Terraria Mechdusa?
Before you can summon the new boss, you need to first acquire all of the other three mech boss summoning items: Mechanical Worm, Mechanical Eye, and Mechanical Skull. The reason for this is that the new boss is the combination of all three mech bosses, making her more powerful than all of them.
Crafting Ocram’s Razor
As we mentioned earlier, you will require all of the three mech boss summoning items to create this new summoning item. Ocram’s Razor has caught many of the fans by surprise, and they even took it to Reddit to share their surprise with the rest of the fanbase.
- Mechanical Worm: The Mechanical Worm is a Hardmode artifact that may be used to summon The Destroyer, the Hardmode Eater of Worlds. It can only be used at night; using it during the day will not call the boss nor deplete the item.
- Mechanical Eye: The Mechanical Eye summons The Twins, the advanced and Hardmode variant of Cthulhu’s Eye. It can only be used at night; utilizing it during the day will neither spawn nor consume The Twins.
- Mechanical Skull: Skeletron Prime, a Hardmode variant of Skeletron, may be summoned via the Mechanical Skull, a boss-summoning item. It can only be utilized at night, therefore ingesting it during the day will not create Skeletron Prime.
After you gathered all three, you will require a Mythril Anvil or an Orichalcum Anvil. These are Hardmode crafting stations that serve the same purpose as a Pre-Hardmode Anvil. After you place your anvil and enter your inventory, you will see that Ocram’s Razor is one of the craftable items. Craft it and get ready for an epic boss fight.
Summoning Terraria Mechdusa
First of all, you need to travel to the Underworld. While Ocram’s Razor is in your inventory, put it on your hotbar. Afterward, hold it in your hand and left-click with your mouse. This should summon the new boss. However, if you are unable to do so or don’t want to spend tons of time trying to, you can always spawn in a special world and summon in there. Read on to find out how.
Summoning Terraria Mechdusa in “getfixedboi” seed
If you are just looking to see the boss and test it out, we suggest that you do so in a special seed. This seed is “getfixedboi” and it will spawn you in a special world, in the Underground. Afterward, you will need the necessary items to summon the boss, which you can easily add to your inventory using a Terraria profile/inventory editor. The one we recommend is Terrasavr, which solely works on your browser and does not require you to install anything. Now you can follow the instructions above and summon the Terraria Mechdusa boss.
