Netflix Tudum 2022 revealed some of the most anticipated series of this year! The streaming service seems to have been holding out on us, despite Comic-Con making a two-year long comeback this summer. Instead of releasing many of its best television shows or motion pictures in San Diego, Netflix has once more backed Tudum, an annual live-streaming event that is entirely dedicated to Netflix.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Which series are revealed?
In case you’re unaware of its etymology, Tudum is a phonetic spelling of the sound that plays in the opening credits of all of Netflix’s original television programs and movies. The information that was disclosed at the event is included below, and it includes information on a spin-off of the well-known Witcher series, a new Pinocchio film, and bloopers from hit television programs like Stranger Things.
Before we dive into the series, don’t forget to check out the latest Netflix Ubisoft partnership that will improve gaming offerings from the streaming service.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Enola Holmes 2
The Tudum this year was huge, with a ton of direct-from-the-source clips, films, and announcements. One of the greatest trailers was possibly for Enola Holmes 2, which stars two of Netflix’s most known actors: Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things and Henry Cavill from The Witcher.
Enola (Brown) is attempting to emerge from her famous brother Sherlock Holmes’ shadow in the clip below (Cavill). A mystery that has stumped even Sherlock’s brilliant mind is somehow connected to Enola’s first case, despite the detective agency’s rocky start. Therefore, the Holmes siblings will need to work together once more. Also reprising her part as Eudoria Holmes, the mother of Sherlock and Enola, is Helena Bonham Carter. The sequel’s Netflix debut is scheduled for November 4.
Netflix Tudum 2022: The Witcher
Netflix has revealed that The Witcher, its most well-known program, will return for a third season in the summer of 2023. Fortunately, the wait for new Witcher programming won’t be too long. The Witcher: Blood Origin, a prequel miniseries, will debut on Netflix in December.
Netflix Tudum 2022: The School For Good and Evil
With The School for Good and Evil, Netflix plans to start a new franchise next month, namely on October 19. In this young adult fiction, the fates of two friends are reversed when a good girl is admitted to the School For Good and a natural heroine is enticed to the School For Evil. And that change in destiny could end up being devastating for everyone. Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie play the two friends in question, with Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington serving as the movie’s leading ladies.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Thankfully, a significant sequel won’t be released on Netflix until the following year. Introducing a scene from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery was director Rian Johnson. In this scene, every potential suspect works together to create a puzzle-box invitation to a secluded island that will reveal the solution to the riddle that can only be solved by Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc. Netflix hasn’t yet disclosed the exact date of the release, but it will happen this year.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Manifest
Because NBC’s Manifest had such ardent supporters, cancellation was not an option for the show. By rewatching the earlier seasons, they essentially forced Netflix to order a fourth and final season of the program. When Manifest season 4 part 1 debuts on November 4, answers to the show’s puzzles will finally start to emerge.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Dead To Me
Dead To Me’s final season premieres on November 17 as the story of Jen Harding (Christina Applegate) and Judy Hale (Linda Cardellini) reaches a conclusion. Under false pretenses, they crossed paths in therapy while Jen was in mourning for her husband Ted, who had been murdered by Judy in a hit-and-run accident. Additionally, when Jen discovered more about Judy’s true identity, their connection has only grown more challenging.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Wednesday
This is a show we are eagerly anticipating. Wednesday, the sole child of Gomez (Luis Guzmán) and Morticia Addams, is being played by Jenna Ortega (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Even if it kills her, Wednesday will have to master social skills at Nevermore Academy. And perhaps it will! Thankfully, Tim Burton’s interpretation of the iconic characters features a family friend, who can be seen in the video below. On November 23, a Wednesday, it will arrive.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Slumberland
Has the comic strip Little Nemo in Slumberland ever caught your attention? It was an original tale of a little boy’s dream travels, written by Winsor McKay in 1905. Slumberland on Netflix deviates somewhat from its inspiration. For starters, Jason Momoa now plays her tour guide, Flip, and Nemo is now Nema (Marlow Barkley). Although the film won’t be released until Thanksgiving, you can watch a sneak preview of Flip outlining Slumberland’s rules below.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Pinocchio
Disney+ may have two Pinocchio movies, but Netflix will soon have its own as well. Guillermo del Toro will present his stop-motion animated version of the well-known story in December. In the below promotional video, Del Toro describes the animation procedure for the movie.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Emily In Paris
Divergent opinions have been sparked by Emily in Paris. But since it will return for a third season on Netflix on December 21, it must be doing something right. The clip suggests more of the same: fantastic Parisian settings, a fun supporting cast, and Emily’s awful, awful attire. We hope she isn’t sporting a beret like she did in season 2.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Extraction 2
Extraction 2 is actually the follow-up to one of Thor and several other actors’ most unexpectedly successful Netflix original movies from the previous three years. Chris Hemsworth, who starred in Love and Thunder, will return as Tyler Rake in Extraction 2, the follow-up to one of Netflix’s most well-liked action movies. Sam Hargrave, who previously directed the movie, is again back for this one in which Rake tries to get a Georgian gangster’s family released from jail. To build anticipation for the 2023 release, a behind-the-scenes video was released.
Netflix Tudum 2022: The Redeem Team
You may be familiar with the basketball players who made up the ’92 Dream Team, including Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, and Michael Jordan. However, are you familiar with The Redeem Team? The 2008 Olympic basketball team, which was captained by Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and LeBron James, will be the subject of a future Netflix documentary. Before achieving one of the greatest comebacks in history, they came dangerously close to losing everything.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Shadow and Bone
The first episode of the dark fantasy series Shadow and Bone aired more than two years ago. Its return to Netflix was not specified with a comeback date. However, the cast is already discussing upcoming episodes of the show. Is there room for this show to return given that House of the Dragon and The Rings of Power currently rule the airwaves?
Netflix Tudum 2022: Never Have I Ever
Never Have I Ever, a popular coming-of-age comedy/drama on Netflix, will have its fourth and final season in 2023. The cast members talk about season four in the video up top.
Netflix Tudum 2022: You
You, the sensational thriller, won’t be finished anytime soon. In fact, by dividing the upcoming fourth season, Netflix has decided to steal two halves of the apple. The first episode of You season 4 part 1 will air on February 10, and part 2 will follow on March 10.
Netflix Tudum 2022: The Mother
Don’t let her arsenal of weapons deceive you; she is simply Jenny from the assassins’ block. Is that a stretch? Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming action movie, The Mother, has already been slated for release on Netflix in May 2023. She portrays an assassin who must come out of hiding when her adversaries put her daughter in risk. Gael Garcia Bernal, Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and others also appear in the movie.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Heart of Stone
In 2023, Jennifer Lopez won’t be the only A-lister to star in her own Netflix action film. Heart of Stone, a brand-new spy thriller, stars Gal Gadot. And thanks to Gadot, Jamie Dornan, and Alia Bhatt, you can see the action for the first time below. We’re just relieved that it has prevented Gadot from producing the long-rumored Cleopatra film—or possibly Wonder Woman 3—in its place.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Bridgerton
Will Bridgerton get a new season in 2023? We believe season 3 will arrive very soon given that Netflix has already shared a new Lady Whistledown column in the video below.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Queen Charlotte
But if we had to guess, we’d say Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, the prequel miniseries, will debut first. Consider it a hunch. This tale explores Charlotte and George’s courtship and how it led to Bridgerton’s alternative history.
Netflix Tudum 2022: Umbrella Academy and Stranger Things
Both Strange Things and Umbrella Academy have been given another season. Netflix released a blooper reel for each show, even though it might be several months before either one returns. It’s great to see more Academy footage because we really enjoyed the third season of the show. Our favorite blooper reel is the second one because Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Vecna, appears in it and then bursts out laughing. It demonstrates the cast, many of whom must effectively act as though they are confronting the apocalypse, simply unwinding and not taking things too seriously.
Netflix Tudum 2022: The Crown
The highly regarded series about the contemporary royal family of England has a teaser and a November 9 premiere date for its fifth season. The season is expected to concentrate on the effects of Charles and Diana’s terrible marriage and allegedly detail Lady Di’s untimely passing.
We can’t wait to return to the royal intrigue now that Queen Elizabeth II has recently passed away and interest in the family and the series is at an all-time high.
