On September 8, Disney will hold a unique occasion called Disney Plus Day to commemorate its streaming service. The 2022 Disney D23 Expo, scheduled for September 9–11 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will immediately follow this year’s event.

The reduction is especially welcome this year, given the price of ad-free Disney Plus is due to climb from $8 to $11 a month on December 8.

Will there be any subscription deals on Disney Plus Day?
As part of a unique Disney+ Day promotion, new and qualified returning Disney Plus users will be able to acquire one month of subscription for $2. That represents a $6 discount from the monthly cost.
The promotion will begin on September 8 at 12 a.m. ET and last until September 20 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
