Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more. The anime series HxH received immediate critical acclaim when Madhouse Animation revived it in 2011.

To put it mildly, some have dubbed it the “best anime series ever” — at least, that’s what Adrian Marcano of Inverse claims.

Since 1998, there has been a Hunter X Hunter manga series. Yoshiro Togashi, the manga’s author, illustrator, and storyteller, has had to postpone the project numerous times.

Hunter X Hunter season 6 premiered more than eight years ago in 2014, and the most recent manga was released in October 2018. As a result, viewers are particularly interested in finding out how Gon Freecss’s narrative concludes.

Madhouse has remained mum regarding a prospective anime season 7 ever since season 6 came to an end.

However, recent activity from Togashi and other show-related creators has fans speculating about the possibility of a seventh season of Hunter X Hunter!

All HxH Season 7 rumors in 2022

Unverified Twitter user @Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp tweeted a picture of a paper corner with the number 6 written in ink on it on May 24, 2022.

When loosely translated into English, the caption for this picture says, “4 more episodes for the time being.”

Fans of Hunter X Hunter were certain that the account belonged to Togashi, but there was no official confirmation.

A few hours later, Yusuke Murata, a Japanese cartoonist best known for his work on One-Punch Man, shared the tweet.

Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more.

With the comment “It was with the person himself,” Murata verified that the account was actually belonging to Togashi.

Following that first tweet, numerous others that displayed the same image—a piece of a page with various numbers—were tweeted shortly afterward.

For instance, a number 7 was posted on May 26, 2022.

This continued until Togashi captioned a post on June 6th, 2022, with the words, “For the time being, 3 more episodes.”

After this post, the numbers restarted and continue to be posted regularly.

The figures resumed after this article and are still being posted often.

“For the time being, two more episodes, read the latest tweet from Togashi’s account, which featured the number 2. Nuts. When I was longing for a postcard craftsman”, posted on 14th June 2022.

This evidence suggests that the following Hunter X Hunter manga is probably already under development. Furthermore, Togashi is moving forward with it quickly and regularly.

Madhouse is silent regarding the posts. Additionally, they haven’t made any recent indication of adapting fresh Hunter X Hunter content.

Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more.

Madhouse has been behaving more or less as if the anime series is already finished.

In March 2022, VIZ debuted the brand-new box set cover for “Hunter X Hunter: The Complete Series.”

Cover reveal! 💥

Gon dreams of following in his father’s footsteps to become a Hunter. Throughout his journey, Gon overcomes many obstacles, while making new friends along the way!

Although the cover is gorgeous, the word “Complete” indicates that the series is also done.

Madhouse has already expressed interest in adapting the upcoming Hunter X Hunter film. However, they have not yet taken any action to produce a season 7.

Remember that after season 6, the HxH anime was never terminated. Simply put, there hasn’t been any information on a season 7.

Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more.
All HxH Season 7 rumors

All things considered, there doesn’t seem to be any justification for Madhouse to decline to adapt more HxH manga if Togashi is creating them for a season 7.

When the mangas are completed will determine how long that takes.

It is impossible to predict with certainty when HxH season 7 will air. especially given how little Madhouse has recently done.

However, assuming everything goes according to plan, fans can anticipate the release of season 7 in 2024 at the earliest.

Just as it is unknown how many episodes season 7 of the anime will likely feature until Togashi completes the next chapter of Hunter X Hunter’s manga, there is also no way to know for sure.

The majority of prior seasons had between 12 and 26 episodes, however season six only had 12. aside from season 5, which contained a whopping 61 episodes.

Given that the Hunter X Hunter manga’s upcoming arc is only a few chapters long, season 7 might only have 12 episodes.

Alternately, Madhouse may combine the following two storylines into one season, resulting in the production of more episodes at once.

When Togashi is through with the Success Contest arc, it will depend on how lengthy it is.

HxH Season 7 release date

The seventh season of Hunter X Hunter has yet to be released. Season 7 might debut as early as 2024, depending on if Madhouse decides to continue the show.

How long Togashi needs to complete the following manga chapter will determine when it will be released.

Why has HxH Season 7 been delayed?

The current dearth of manga content is the primary factor behind HxH Season 7’s delay.

Madhouse doesn’t have enough completed story to turn into a full season until Togashi can publish additional manga.

In a May 2018 interview with Weekly Shonen Jump, Togashi was frank about the manga.

Togashi stated, “I need to complete writing ‘Hunter x Hunter,'” during this interview. It has reached the point where I either pass away before the story is finished, or the story ends before. However, I do aim to complete it.

He has consistently indicated a desire to finish HxH.

Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more.

Previous gaps were not a problem for Madhouse because there was already enough material available for the creation of new anime.

The Hunter X Hunter manga then saw its longest break to date. This made it possible for the anime to surpass the manga.

Fans questioned whether Madhouse would ever adapt any additional manga.

Togashi has stated that the upcoming arc (the Succession Contest Arc) will be even longer than the Chimera Ant arc, even though it is currently believed that he is working on the new Hunter X Hunter manga (which was the longest anime and manga arc of the series).

The seventh season of the anime could be delayed even further as Madhouse is reluctant to adapt an unfinished arc.

HxH Season 7’s postponement could also be due to Madhouse concentrating on their other projects (such as The Vampire Dies in No Time and Sonny Boy).

But the main issue seems to be that HxH doesn’t have enough substance.

HxH Season 7 plot

The Dark Continent Expedition storyline, which comes after that in the manga, would be the next one for Madhouse to translate.

The Succession Contest storyline, nevertheless, might potentially be a part of HxH Season 7 because to how brief it is.

Madhouse typically devotes one season to each manga story arc.

Simply put, a shorter season would result from a shorter arc with less narrative. like in season 2 when the 12-episode Heavens Area arc was adapted.

Only 8 chapters, from chapter #340 (“Special Mission”) to chapter #348 (“Resolve”), make up the manga’s “Dark Continent” arc.

The Succession Contest arc is still going on, therefore it’s uncertain how long it will go. However, it already has a more elaborate and thorough plot than the Dark Continent arc.

As a result, season 7 of Hunter X Hunter might mix the two storylines.

Hunter X Hunter’s sixth season was loaded with feeling and motivation. The reason Gon started out as a hunter was to finally be reunited with his father.

As they go into the prohibited Dark Continent, both new and recurring characters are followed throughout the Dark Continent arc.

The idea of the Dark Continent was first established when Ging Freecss said he intended to explore this uncharted territory at the conclusion of season 6.

Today we are here to review all HxH Season 7 rumors about trailer, release date, plot and more.

The Kakin empire wanted to expand its territory, so Beyond Netero led an expedition to investigate the Dark Continent. This is where the story of Season 7 would begin.

Kurapika Kurta is hired to join the crew in accordance with the manga’s plot at the same time that a number of other characters—including Ging Freecss and the Zodiacs—become a part of the expedition.

The mission into the Dark Continent starts with the support of the V5.

But the group has never gone anyplace like this before. They had never encountered something as dangerous and mystical as the magic and the creatures that inhabit it.

The Dark Continent storyline expands on the Kurta Clan massacre by providing readers a better understanding of Kurapaki’s motivations.

The fatal competition on board the Black Whale ship while en route to the Dark Continent will be included in the story if season 7 also features the Succession Contest arc from the manga.

The winner of the competition will succeed the current Prince as King of Kakin.

It is uncertain how season 7 would conclude if it included the Succession storyline because the manga adaptation of the arc has not yet concluded.

HxH Season 7 characters

Kurapaki would be the main focus of Season 7, with a few other characters—including Ging—making a comeback.

The manga’s Dark Continent storyline features very little of Gon and Killua Zoldyck. However, recent activity raises the possibility that they might return in season 7.

Megumi Han, who provided Gon’s voice in Hunter X Hunter seasons 1–6, uploaded a menacing image of a recording booth on her Instagram account on February 5, 2021.

Her caption was translated roughly as follows: “I met my buddy in this place. She also tweeted on Twitter. Yes, it was a recording of that work. My origin. I am hoping I can reveal all soon.”

Then, on the same day, Mariya Ise, who is the voice actor of Killua, tweeted:

“Today I’ve been recording Mufufu. (Mufufuf is the Japanese version of an evil laugh, similar to mwaahah). Happy to meet my buddy on my way home! I’d like to tell you soon, but I can’t show you yet…”

Neither Gon nor Killua play a prominent part in the Dark Continent or Succession arcs of the manga. Although these social media posts imply that they might be one of the HxH Season 7 characters.

Kurapaki Kurta will most likely serve as the series’ lead in HxH Season 7. Kurapaki replaces Gon as the series’ main protagonist, and both potential arcs expand deeper into his story.

Ging and Leorio Paradinight are two other characters that most likely would make a comeback. Season 7 of Hunter X Hunter is expected to have certain characters that may not have had much of a role in earlier seasons.

Nevertheless, the Dark Continent mostly introduces new characters rather than the existing cast. Season 7 of HxH will likely include appearances from Beyond, Parison Hill, Mizaistom Nana, Cheadle Yorkshire, Kanzai, and Botobai Gigante.

HxH Season 7 trailer release date

There haven’t been many official HxH season 7 teases, except from a few perhaps Hunter X Hunter-related social media posts by Gon and Killua’s voice actors.

However, if everything goes according to plan, Madhouse may release a trailer for the upcoming season in 2023.

There hasn’t been much information from Madhouse about season 7 or the Hunter X Hunter franchise as a whole since season 6 ended.

This is likely due to the fact that, as was already mentioned, they do not have enough content to support a new season and do not currently have any trailers or clips to share with fans.

Fans might not have to wait too long for new content given that two of the series’ key voice actors have teased fans with mysterious social media tweets that could be about Hunter X Hunter.

There is a good likelihood that HxH Season 7 will premiere in 2024 after Togashi is well enough to begin writing it.

By the end of 2023, Madhouse will probably start dropping hints about the upcoming HxH.

Where to watch HxH Season 7?

HxH’s seventh season has not yet been revealed, so it is still unknown where viewers can watch the new show online.

However, the way that Madhouse has aired the last 6 seasons of the show has been largely consistent.

In the beginning, the season will probably air in Japan but will be accessible on Crunchyroll. The English dub will probably be available for viewing on Toonami once it is ready to air.

The next season might not be available right once on other streaming services like Netflix.

How many seasons of Hunter X Hunter are there?

Six seasons were produced over the course of the three years it was shown, and they are now all available online through Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Toonami. According to IMDB, Crunchyroll ranked the anime among the Top 25 Anime of the Decade. Have you hear that Bridget is the first character of Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 2!
