You can learn how to unlock characters in Multiversus with this article. Numerous characters from Warner Bros. properties, including Batman, Adventure Time, Looney Tunes, and Scooby-Doo, are available through MultiVersus characters.
Each character has a class and weight, which might help you focus your selection based on playstyle if you’re not sure where to begin. Don’t worry, we explained too in this article.
In MultiVersus, characters must first be unlocked before you can play them, except for a regular free character rotation that lets you test before you buy.
How to unlock characters in Multiversus?
While some characters, like Wonder Woman from the tutorial, will be accessible immediately, all others must be unlocked first.
In MultiVersus, you can use gold, Character Tickets, or Gleamium to unlock characters. These three separate types of currency can be obtained by gameplay, leveling up, and/or buying Founder’s Packs with real money.
When you have enough of the items listed above, you can use the “Collection” menu to unlock a character.
In addition to this, there is always a limited number of free characters accessible. This is changed around every two weeks and is on a rotation.
After this time period is up, a currency is required to unlock them. Think of it as a helpful method to sample new characters before purchasing them!
MultiVersus free character rotation
Between August 15 and August 30, the following characters are playable without requiring gold as part of the current MultiVersus free rotation:
- Arya
- Batman
- LeBron
- Steven
Additionally, the “clock” icon on the character selection screen in-game lets you see this.
This list cycles, as was described in part above. Thus, you must unlock each character if you wish to keep playing as them.

Characters for MultiVersus are drawn from many different WB franchises, including DC, Adventure Times, Looney Tunes, and Game of Thrones.
Beyond the appeal of each individual character, the fact that each character belongs to one of five classes and has a varied weight (thanks to Kaninapo on Reddit for confirming this) will assist you in choosing who to play as.
