In this article, we are going to be covering FIFA 23 Juventus reveal and its trailer, as the famous Italian club returns to the popular football franchise.
Since 2019, the Italian squad has only been available in Konami’s PES/eFootball series. The longest-running competitive battle in the video game business has continued, as FIFA publisher EA has renewed its agreement with PES/eFootball developers Konami to use Juventus’ rights solely in FIFA 23.
Juventus returns fully licensed
It will be Juventus’ first appearance in FIFA since the 2019 version of the game when Konami shocked football games fans by revealing Juve will be an exclusive club in PES 2020. Since that time, EA has employed the fictitious Piemonte Calcio squad, which is named after the region where Juventus is based and literally translates to “Piemonte Football.”
Now that Juventus is back under EA’s powerful managerial umbrella, everything has changed. According to a statement made by EA Sports, they now have “exclusive multi-year partnership” rights to the Juventus logo, uniforms, and Allianz Arena, the club’s stadium. Additionally, EA Sports said that former Juventus player Claudio Marchisio would show up in FIFA 23’s version of FIFA Ultimate Team as a Hero Card. Marchisio is a Juventus legend who has won seven Serie A championships and advanced to two Champions League finals while playing for the team.
