In this article, we are going to be covering how to change your age in MultiVersus, so you can fix the stuck in offline mode bug.
MultiVersus is a free-to-play crossover fighting game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by Player First Games. The game includes characters from Warner Bros. Discovery, as well as those from Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO, Turner Entertainment, and Cartoon Network. You can get the upper tiers of the game from its Steam page. If you find yourself trapped in offline mode in MultiVersus, it might be because you set your age incorrectly. Due to the game’s ESRB rating, any users who picked an age under 18 are barred from participating in online play. Unfortunately, there is no option to change this in the game’s standard settings after the first prompt presented the first time you start MultiVersus. Though this is done outside of the game, there is a technique to manually reset the age question shown at the start of the game. Here’s how to modify your MultiVersus age.

How to change your age in MultiVersus?
Unfortunately, there is no in-game menu setting in MultiVersus to modify your age; however, you may still reset the prompt using the game’s files. This approach requires wiping all existing save data before entirely restarting the game, making it only available to PC players. This is how you may access your saved files and remove them:
- Search for “%appdata%” in the Windows search box. and choose it
- Locate MultiVersus in the App Data folder.
- Go to the “Saved” folder and remove the “SaveGames” folder.
- Re-launch the game from Steam after removing the SaveGames folder.
- When it reloads, change your age to over 18.
Warner Brothers’ engineers have not revealed if this is a problem or whether they plan to provide a simpler method of changing your age in the near future. Given that the game is still in beta, we may anticipate some changes in the near future. Console gamers who have been shut out of offline play will be able to enter the online competition only by creating a new account for the time being.
MultiVersus age requirements
Because MultiVersus is presently classified as Teen by the ESRB, the minimum age to play the game is 13 years old. However, if you want to use all of the game’s features, including online play, you should set your age to be over 18.
