After the postponement in April, Fallout 76 Meat Week 2022 will be back in August!
For those Fallout 76 players who were disappointed by missing out on an event earlier in the year, there is now a release date for the game’s upcoming update as well as some good news. Naturally, we’re referring to Meat Week, a promotion that promised attendees a chance to win special prizes by engaging with Super Mutant Grahm. Due to certain problems, the event had to be postponed, but it appears that following this upcoming update, it will be back on schedule for August.
Fallout 76 Meat Week 2022 is finally back in August
Instead of the normal one-week events or ones that just continue for the weekend, Fallout 76 Meat Week 2022 was intended to be back in April for a total of two weeks. When players began to notice that the event wasn’t producing the intended rewards and that its primary character, Grahm, wasn’t acting as planned, Bethesda reacted by withdrawing the event and replacing it with the return of aliens to the game.
In June, Bethesda informed us that Meat Week would return in August for two weeks via a new community calendar. There hasn’t been any recent information about Meat Week fixes, which has some people wondering how organized the event would be when it returns. However, it appears that adjustments for Fallout 76 Meat Week 2022 will be included in the upcoming update, which will be released on July 26.
“We wanted to let you know that we are planning to release a new update for Fallout 76 next week, on Tuesday, July 26. This patch will be smaller than some of our larger updates that bring new content to the game. Primarily, we’re intending to address bugs, including a number of issues that have been reported by the community, like reduced energy weapon durability, incorrect Meat Week rewards, and Grahm wandering away from the grill during his Meat Cook. This update will also bring some new items to the Atomic Shop over the coming weeks,” Bethesda’s latest Inside the Vault post states.
Expect Fallout 76 Meat Week to start on August 16 and last for two weeks after that, according to the most recent event calendar, so perhaps it will operate better than before. Did you know that you can play Fallout 76 for free on all platforms?

When is the next Fallout 76 maintenance?
Additionally, the planned downtime of two to three hours will need to be somewhat extended for Tuesday’s maintenance. This is so that Bethesda can make some behind-the-scenes changes to certain services and processes, which they can only accomplish when the game is offline. For July 26 at 10:00 a.m. ET, maintenance on Fallout 76 is anticipated to start. You’ll receive updates on the Bethesda Studios Discord channel so you’ll know exactly when to log back in.
