In this article, we will be covering the Instagram Notes feature, as well as trying to answer the question: “What are Instagram Notes?”
Instagram Notes feature is in testing
Instagram is testing another feature that might make socializing with pals on the site a lot simpler. The Notes function allows users to communicate their ideas with many people at once instead of via direct message.
There are two possibilities here: users can share their notes with those followers they follow themselves, or they may pick their “Close Friends” list and just send notes to those individuals. Social media experts Ahmed Ghanem and Matt Navarra shared the options on Twitter.

What are Instagram Notes?
The new function will be added to the chat part of the app, just above recent discussions. The options “Leave a note” and “Share a thought for people to see here” are displayed to users. It appears that users can only share text messages with a maximum length of 60 characters.
The Notes are similar to the WhatsApp info status in this form (there was also an interesting innovation for this recently). With the choice of not just integrating text, but also pictures and videos, for example, the feature may become even more appealing. Instagram has been testing a brand-new functionality called Boards, a type of collaborative design project, for a few months.
This may be even more exciting for users than the Notes function because Boards can be changed simultaneously with other people. Instagram Help Center already has a page attached to the feature. Now we must wait and see if, when, and in what form, the Notes function is rolled out to all users.
