In this article, we will be covering Harley Davidson electric bike range, including the top speed, Harley Davidson electric bike price, and more.
The new Harley-Davidson Serial 1 brand has unveiled its second mountain e-bike, and it now includes suspension for the first time. The company’s initial electric mountain bike didn’t have any, which was a little odd. Over the last several years, Harley-Davidson has expanded into the world of electrification. By launching its own LiveWire electric motorcycle brand and, more recently, electric mountain bikes under the Serial 1 name, it has sought to establish itself as a player in the sector.
Harley Davidson electric bike range
The BASH is the brand’s first e-MTB. It has a completely solid aluminum frame and fork, with no front or rear suspension, seat dropper post, or anything to deal with potholes and bumps as you ride down some single track. The seat had approximately 50mm of travel, but that wasn’t sufficient for any modern rider. We have some good news for you. Harley-Davidson has just unveiled the new Serial 1 SWITCH/MTN electric hardtail mountain bike, which features front suspension. It’s not entirely suspended, but the “SR Suntour ZERON35 BOOST AIR suspension fork” offers 130, 140, or 150mm of travel.
Not only did the Switch’s mid-drive motor give more power than we expected, but its in-frame battery also impressed us. It also comes with a TranzX dropper seat post and other features similar to those seen on many e-MTBs, such as a 90 Nm mid-drive with high clearance over rocks and tree stumps on the trail and a proprietary in-frame 529 Wh removable battery.
Serial 1 says the SWITCH/MTN is ready for adventure, stating that:
“extremely off-road capable, SWITCH/MTN has the performance to satisfy an expert rider, but careful attention to fit and fine details ensure that our latest eMTB is just as accessible and accommodating for riders who are just beginning their off-road adventure too.”
Aaron Frank, the Serial 1 brand director, went on to say why the company decided to double down on its growing off-road direction:
“The vast majority of our world is unpaved. Fire roads, Jeep trails, singletrack paths, terrain parks, ski hills, state forests—there are so many great destinations to explore on two wheels and SWITCH/MTN, with its powerful motor, large-capacity battery, fully adjustable front suspension, and wide-ratio 1×12 drivetrain, has the all the performance and capability to take you anywhere you want to go.”
Harley Davidson electric bike top speed
The massive battery and Brose S Mag engine allow you to cruise at speeds of up to 20MPH (throttle-controlled) or faster while pedaling, as well as travel 30-95 miles on a single charge, depending on how you use it. SRAM Eagle drivetrain, knobby and sticky Michelin off-road tires, simple-to-use air suspension in the front, along with hydraulic disc brakes, and LED headlights are all included.

The new Harley-Davidson Switch e-MTB is available in four sizes and will retail for $4,499 when it goes on sale this August.
