Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is announced with a trailer and 2023 release date. Yesi but calm down, let’s check our facts: There is a new Star Wars game coming out, it is called Jedi: Survivor, it is a part of Star Wars Celebration and it comes out in 2023. The first trailer was just released.
The cinematic trailer of the sequel to Respawn’s critically-acclaimed Star Wars game shows us Cal Kestis after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. He’s still on the run from the Empire. While there isn’t much of a story in the trailer, it does have a lot of Star Wars with new inquisitors and mysteries.
Cal, on the other hand, who spent the previous game building a family of supporters is all alone in this one. His lightsaber, which he spent so much time reassembling, appears to fall into the hands of the Empire. Cal is in a terrible position at the start of Jedi: Survivor.
The next Star Wars action RPG from Respawn will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, and PC. There’s a good chance that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to past-gen consoles since developers are migrating to new-generation platforms.
The trailer debuted during Star Wars Celebration, when there was a lot of buzz about new Star Wars series like Andor and Mandalorian season 3.
When it came out, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the most favorably reviewed titles in recent memory. Respawn, a studio best known for online multiplayer games like Titanfall and Apex Legends, made a major splash with this release. By combining Star Wars with a deep single-player narrative campaign and Souls-style action RPG elements, Respawn has successfully brought Star Wars into the present day.
