The new Dell XPS 13 Plus is a futuristic-looking model with a haptic touchpad and fingerprint scanner. The keyboard, which is flush with the case, has what Dell refers to as a “haptic ForcePad” in place of a touchpad. The glass trackpad blends in with the keyboard deck and is simple to use. It is compatible with four different Core processors, including the Intel Core i5-1240P, Intel Core i7-1260P, Intel Core i7-1270P, and Intel Core i7-1280P. It also has 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage capacity. Intel’s integrated Iris Xe graphics give gamers and content creators a more engaging experience. It’s powered by Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Professional.
The buttons on the XPS 13 Plus’s keyboard have a touch-capacitive, LED-illuminated design that lets you adjust brightness, volume level, and the microphone. The Dell XPS 13 Plus comes with a USB-C to USB-A 3.0 adapter and has four Thunderbolt ports. It is powered by a 55Whr battery that is charged via a 60W Type-C AC Adapter. The battery life is unknown, but it can charge up to 80% in around an hour.
It has no headphone jack, however. Because of this, you might want to check out some Bluetooth headsets before you buy this laptop, so you can utilize its capabilities. The Dell XPS 13 Plus comes with two cameras: a 720p HD RGB camera at 30 fps and a 400p 30 fps IR camera that improve image clarity when the webcam is used at 720p. As for security, it features Windows Hello Face, which allows you to access your system using a PIN, face recognition, or fingerprint, and the Fingerprint Unlock, which is integrated into the power button. The XPS 13 Plus has a 12-month subscription to McAfee LiveSafe as standard.
Dell XPS 13 Plus price
The starting price for the Windows 10 version is $1,299, with the Developer Edition costing Ubuntu 20.04 at $1,249. Don’t forget that you can upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 via Microsoft. As you upgrade the CPU and the display, the price will go up accordingly. This appears to be the solution to all of your prayers in terms of a laptop that is both powerful and relatively inexpensive.
Dell XPS 13 Plus release date
For the US and Canadian markets, the XPS 13 Plus will be available on April 28. Since January, customers have been waiting with bated breath as they pondered whether or not to purchase a Dell XPS 13 Plus based on what they’d heard.
