Lost Ark Express mission event: Full guide
After the April 21 update, The Lost Ark Super Express Mission event will display on your screen when you log in. Every player may participate in this mission. This character must be at least level 50 and possess an item level of 1000 or below.
However, be cautious when picking your character: Because the Lost Ark Super Express missions are designed for fast-tier progression, high-tier characters will not find it useful. The rewards for the selected character are linked to his or her account. This was mentioned in a Steam announcement, but it isn’t displayed on the event screen in-game.
Let’s assume that your primary character is Tier 2 and your alt has just reached level 50. In this example, most of the Lost Ark Super Express mission rewards would be lost on your main, so you should use your alt. If you don’t plan to level 50 well before June 30 (when the event ends), it’s probably best to utilize your Tier 2 main because you won’t be able to obtain all of the event benefits.
Lost Ark Super Express mission: Change character
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change character in the Lost Ark Super Express mission. Therefore, we don’t recommend using this opportunity on a Tier 3 character.
It appears that a large number of players launched the game after the update, saw the pop-up message, and selected their highest-tier character. This means they’ve been locked into an item level boost for a character with a high item level since then.

Lost Ark officials made a statement about this matter:
“Heroes of Arkesia,
We wanted to give a quick update on the Express Mission Event. We have seen the confusion and frustration from players that have started the event on a character that would not benefit as much as a different character on their roster. We wanted to confirm that we are actively working with Smilegate to help alleviate this as well as improve the communication surrounding the event in game.
During our weekly maintenance this Thursday, we will be updating the event to implement a “character change” feature. This feature will allow players to change their designated event character one time in order to make a more informed decision about what character they would like to claim Express Mission Event rewards on. Additionally, only level 50 characters with an item level under 1100 will be able to be designated as an Express Mission Event character.
Please note that if you have already used the honing benefit provided by the event on any T1 or T2 gear pieces, you will not be able to change your Express Mission Event character. After the update, a notification will be displayed the first time you attempt to hone a T1 or T2 gear piece on your Express Mission Event character to alert you that you will be unable to change your selected character if you continue with the honing attempt. Players that have only honed T3 gear on their Express Mission Event character are exempt from this, and can select a new express event character if desired.
If you decide to change Express Mission Event characters and have already claimed some of the event rewards, please note that you will not be able to claim them again on the new character (i.e., you will not be able to earn double rewards). As the Express Mission Event rewards are character bound, if you think you would like to change your designated character, it is recommended that you do not claim any rewards until this update goes live on Thursday and you can make the switch.
Additionally, Engraving Selection Chests earned through the Express Mission Event will be updated to contain all recipe selection options. This update will also apply to chests that you have already earned from the event, so if you have them in your inventory or storage but haven’t opened them yet, hang on until the update!”

It’s an understandable oversight, but there isn’t presently a way to exchange Lost Ark Super Express characters. Because so many gamers are lamenting about this problem on the Lost Ark forums, keep an eye on developer notifications. Perhaps they’ll address it at a later date.
How to complete the Lost Ark Super Express mission?
When you’ve chosen your character, you may see a list of events by clicking the event symbol beneath the mini-map. There are four Lost Ark Super Express mission levels (with approximately six missions each), as well as a bonus level. The bulk of the missions are activities such as defeating Chaos Dungeons, doing Guardian Raids, and completing Una’s Tasks. - Level one (302-460): Express Equipment Chest (full level 302 set), Uncommon Combat Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Uncommon Class Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Harmony Leapstone x15, Destruction Stone Fragment x100, Guardian Stone Fragment x300.
- Level two (460-600): Rare Combat Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Rare Class Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Harmony Leapstone x30, Destruction Stone Fragment x200, Guardian Stone Fragment x600.
- Level three (600-960): Epic Combat Engraving Recipe Chest x10, Epic Class Engraving Recipe Chest x10, Harmony Leapstone x30, Destruction Stone Fragment x150, Guardian Stone Fragment x450.
- Level four (960-1100): Epic Combat Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Epic Class Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Life Leapstone x70, Destruction Stone Fragment x300, Guardian Stone Fragment x1500, Caldarr Fusion Material x65.
- Bonus level: 1.500.000 silver, Entrance tickets to the Cube x6, Harmony Shard Pouch x40, Life Shard Pouch x60, and Rift Pieces x1000.
Levels usually give silver, as well as some Health Potions, Phoenix Plumes, Bombs, and Flares. The quality of the item improves with each increase in level (for example, Destruction Stone Fragments are a Tier 2 item).
These are the Check Mission rewards for each completed level:
- Level one: Uncommon Engraving Recipe Chest x20 and Uncommon Class Engraving Recipe Chest x20
- Level two: Stronghold boosts with items such as a Research Acceleration Chip.
- Level three: 1.000.000 silver
- Level four: Super Express Complete Chest, which contains 1000 Gold, one Relic Rapport Selection chest, three Legendary Rapport Selection Chests, 3.000.000 silver, 34 Legendary Card Packs (including Epic Card Pack x10 and Rare Card Pack x20), five Unidentified Powerful Stones of Soaring, Raid/Victory/Adventure Seal (each x10.000), Sailing Coin Selection Chest x10, Epic Combat Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Epic Class Engraving Recipe Chest x20, Creation Fragment x30, Epic Accessory Chest x20, and Honour Leapstone x50.
