WhatsApp is improving the compatibility with Ray-Ban Stories by adding a feature to send messages on WhatsApp, for a future update of the app!
Ray-Ban Stories let you upload photos and videos to social networking sites like Instagram and Facebook, but they also allow WhatsApp users to share their moments in status updates. We’ve discovered new references to a future version of WhatsApp beta for Android that allows people to communicate using the Smart Glasses after researching the newest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.9.13 update.
We’ve found several strings that hint at what’s next in the app’s update: you’ll be able to connect Ray-Ban Stories with WhatsApp, and you’ll be able to send messages on WhatsApp to your contacts using Assistant.
WhatsApp might support voice calls with Ray Ban Stories soon
According to another code string, messages and calls are still end-to-end encrypted, so WhatsApp cannot read or listen to them. Nothing is shared with Meta since these messages also mention WhatsApp conversations. We do not rule out the possibility that calls will be supported in the future because this phrase appears to include both WhatsApp conversations and voice communications.
We don’t know when this functionality will be available to WhatsApp users, and if new firmware is required for the Ray-Ban Stories. Note that, like with any other planned feature, things may change before it’s released.
