During the Super Bowl on Sunday, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was shown a new trailer, providing more hints about the forthcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, which will hit theaters on May 6. Benedict Cumberbatch’s magician and his new pals will travel through the multiverse, setting up cameos all over.

A familiar voice chimes in at 1:18, as does a certain Charles Xavier from the X-Men movies — the older version played by Patrick Stewart. Monica Rambeau, the daughter of the late Maria Rambeau from Captain Marvel, is also along for the ride, with her powers looking more developed during a battle with Scarlet Witch. A brand new trailer for the film was unveiled, along with a fresh poster.
The parallel-dimension-hopping narrative continues the reality-warping twists of Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Strange meddling with the fabric of reality to aid Peter Parker in that film. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) seeks aid from Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, who has been living in seclusion since she messed with the brains of a whole community in WandaVision. However, Wanda appears to be playing a more villainous part in this trailer.
