Samsung appears to have maintained its price tags from the preceding S21 line-up, with the only exception being the S22 Ultra which has less RAM than S21 Ultra.

Everyone was expecting Galaxy S22 series to be cheaper, but it looks like the COVID-19 pandemic and the global chip shortage still affect the companies.

These are the leaked price tags of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series:

  • S22 8/128GB = 849€
  • S22 8/256GB = 899€
  • S22+ 8/128GB = 1049€
  • S22+ 8/256GB = 1099€
  • S22 Ultra 8/128GB = 1249€
  • S22 Ultra 12/256GB = 1349€
  • S22 Ultra 12/512GB = 1449€

The S22 will start at 849€, the S22 Plus will cost 1,049€, and the base S22 Ultra will cost 1,249€, according to Quandt.

All base models of the S22 series are reportedly coming with 8GB RAM, the higher-priced versions vary between 128GB and 256GB storage capacity.

But S22 Ultra will also offer 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions for a higher price, according to the leak.

Last year, the S21 series are released with the same price tags. But according to the report of Android Police based on Quandt’s leak shows us that S22 Ultra will offer 8GB RAM on its base model instead of the 12GB that S21 Ultra had on its base model.

If these prices are true, this would mean a $100 increase across the board.

Samsung’s next high-end phones will reportedly be offered in the United States beginning at $899 and the S22 Plus costing $1,099, the S22 Plus priced at $1,099, and the S22 Ultra priced at $1,299, according to Android Police.
