Microsoft will release 9 more games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in the second half of January 2022, two of these games are already made available starting today.
Xbox Game Pass to release 9 new titles in January 2022
Microsoft made a surprise on January 18 by launching Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition in addition to releasing Nobody Saves the World. The indie game developer studio Drinkbox Studios’ Nobody Saves the World is a fresh title. The studio is known for releasing the popular Guacamelee series.
On January 20, six new Xbox Game Pass games will be available, four of which are first-time debuts:
- Hitman Trilogy, Pupperazzi
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction
- Windjammers 2
- Rainbow Six Siege
The PC version of Game Pass will finally have Rainbow Six Siege.

The aforementioned Xbox Game Pass games set to arrive on January 20 were previously revealed by Microsoft, but Death’s Door is surprising news. The gameplay of Death’s Door is reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda, with challenging boss battles and a Dark Souls-like atmosphere. The game received rave reviews for its unique blend of old-school adventuring and tough boss fights, earning it one of the highest ratings in 2021 among highly anticipated games.
Finally, on January 27, another Xbox Game Pass game will be introduced to the service when Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master debuts for PC and consoles.
