During its MSIology: Gameverse virtual event at CES 2022, MSI debuted the most recent upgrade of gaming laptops and devices for creators.
MSI’s new gaming laptop lineup: Specs, price, and release date
The new laptops have processors from Intel’s latest Core i7 chips and up to the RTX 3080 Ti for laptops. The Stealth and Raider lines, like the others before them, employ a Phase-Change Liquid Metal Pad, which enhances performance by approximately 10%.
GS77/66 Stealth
The latest GS77/66 line includes 6 speakers and 1TB of SSD storage. The GDDR6 VRAM, 16GB or 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a Core i7 or i9 are available depending on the configuration.
The entry-level Stealth GS66 costs $2,249 (about £1,650, AU$3,110), while the top-of-the-line Stealth GS77s starts at $1,799 (about £1,320, AU$2,500).
MSI Raider GE76 and GE76
The MSI Raider GE76 and GE76 have also had their specifications updated. This gaming laptop may be equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or 32GB of RAM, which is impressive.
The MSI Raider GE66 costs $2,249 (about £1,660), while the Raider GE76 is priced at $1,599 (approximately £1,200).
MSI Vector GP76/66
The MSI Vector GP76/66 is a little slower than the Stealth and Raider in terms of raw speed, but it still has the same Cooler Boost 5 Technology as the MSI Vector GT83VR. The RTX 3080 and 32GB of RAM are available, so it isn’t exactly weak.
It starts at $1,899 (about £1,400, AU$2,630) for the Vector GP76 and $2,249 (about £1,660) for the Vector GP66.
MSI Crosshair Rainbow Six Extraction Edition
The Crosshair Rainbow Six Extraction Edition is a collaboration between MSI and Ubisoft, which should be something of a treat for fans. The look of the laptop is designed with significant elements from the game, although it isn’t as powerful as many of the other models.
There are two different versions of this laptop: a 17-inch model that can only be configured with an RTX 3070 GPU, and a 15-inch version that can only be specified with an RTX 3070 Ti.
MSI Pulse GL76
The MSI Pulse GL76 is a more agile and adaptable machine than its forerunner, the MSI GL73. It was created by Maarten Verhoeven and emphasizes agility and flexibility overpower. The Cooler Boost 5 also increases airflow by up to 15%, as does the new RTX 3080 instead of the GTX 1080 Ti of the previous model.
However, at least it’s cheaper than other 17-inch gaming laptops, beginning at $1,349 (about £1,000, AU$1,870).
Creator Z17, Creator Z16P, and Creator M16
The Creator Z17, Creator Z16P, and Creator M16 have also been updated. The Z17 is the first 17-inch laptop to support pen touch, has a 16:10 screen, and supports True Color Technology, according to MSI.
The Z16P focuses on better airflow and cooling with its Vapor Chamber Cooler, which improves performance by 20%. The M16 is a more portable version of the preceding two models, both of which have QHD+ True Pixel displays and a 180-degree lay-flat screen.
On January 25th, all of these laptops will be available for preorder, with shipments due February 1st.
