Asus has introduced its new Republic of Gamers (ROG) products at CES 2022, including some intriguing new concepts alongside updated hardware for a few of its existing devices.

Asus ROG Flow Z13 specs
The ROG’s newest 2-in-1 gaming device, the ROG Flow Z13, which is a totally new product in the company’s portable gaming line is one of the most interesting devices revealed today. The Z13 is somewhat closer in design to the Microsoft Surface Pro family than its Flow X13 sibling, as it is completely detachable from its keyboard.
The tablet is simply 12mm thick and incorporates some remarkable features for its size. There are different configurations you can choose from, ASUS offers up to a 14-core Intel Core i9-12900H CPU and RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. There are two touchscreen versions you can opt for, one with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD support and the other one with a 60Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution.
The Z13 is also compatible with Asus’ external graphics card solution, the XG Mobile, which can now house up to an RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT. Asus hasn’t announced availability or pricing details for any of its latest products.
Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 specs
The latest dual-screen Zephyrus Duo 16 gaming laptop will be powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX processor. It will offer up to 64GB RAM and 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Not to mention GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU.
Asus said that the ROG ScreenPad Plus offers “extra productivity real estate, streaming gameplay, or even controlling supported games”. It’s positioned below the primary 16-inch screen.
Also, there are 2 different main display options you can choose from. The first option is a QHD, 165Hz ROG Nebula HDR panel or the ‘Dual Spec’ panel that can switch between 4K 120Hz or FHD 240Hz.
There’s no doubt that Asus will offer us with some fantastic new devices and improved models, but we’ll have to wait until official pricing is announced within the following weeks to see what the cost is.
