How to disable chat bubbles for Telegram on Android?

If you don’t know how to disable chat bubbles for Telegram on Android, we are going to help you out. Android 11 gives users the ability to set certain incoming notifications in the form of floating bubbles. This feature, mainly intended for messaging apps like WhatsApp or Telegram, is enabled by default in some customization layers. But if you don’t find chat bubbles useful, you can disable this tool very easily.

How to disable chat bubbles for Telegram on Android?

This feature is offered by Android and not from the application itself. That is why you have to disable it from the Android settings. Go to Apps and Notifications. Once you are inside, follow these steps:

  • First, click on “See all Apps.”
  • Select Telegram from the list.
  • Enter “Notifications.”
  • Tap on “Bubbles.”
  • Now choose “Nothing Can Bubble.”

Now, whenever you receive a new message in that app, you’ll no longer see chat bubbles.

How to disable bubbles for Telegram from application settings?

Starting from the Applications section within Settings, we will click on Installed apps and then on Telegram or the app whose bubble notifications we want to disable. Within the application settings, we will click on Notifications and finally on Bubbles in the Conversations section.

Now we just have to check the option Disable chat bubbles as shown in the screenshot above.
