Today we are going to review the specs, release date and price of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. After weeks of teasers on Amazon, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has been finally launched in India. The phone is the follow-up to Samsung’s popular mid-range phone from 2020, the Galaxy M51.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has a high refresh rate display, a Snapdragon processor that supports 5G connectivity, and a stylish design. Galaxy M52 5G doesn’t have a 7,000mAh battery like the previous model and it has one camera less than its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G specs

The Samsung Galaxy M52 is intended to counteract the drawbacks of the Galaxy M51. The Galaxy M52 now features a high refresh rate display, with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen and a 120Hz AMOLED Plus screen. Galaxy M52 5G only weighs 173 grams and measures 7.4mm thick.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has a vertical striped design on the back and comes in Black, Blue, and White color options. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset, which runs at 2.4GHz. Samsung boasts of the 11 5G band support of the device, it is clearly an important part of their marketing strategy.

The device will offer up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. One of the upsides is that it will also come with 4GB of Virtual RAM (RAM Plus). The phone will offer three cameras on the back with a 64MP(f/1.8) main camera, a 12MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP(f/2.4) macro camera. Surely, there’s also a 32MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The device is able to shoot up to 4K videos, and up to 240fps slow motion videos.

The battery of Galaxy M52 5G comes with a huge drawback

Galaxy M51 with its 7,000mAh battery was a big hit in India and the device is still a champion in terms of battery life. Samsung decided to opt for a 5,000mAh battery in the new model. Also, there’s no improvement when it comes to charging speed as well. Galaxy M52 5G will offer 25W fast charging support.

  • Galaxy M52 5G 6GB+128GB: Rs 26,999 (about $365)
