The firm introduced Huawei Watch Fit New. Last year Huawei introduced us to the Huawei Watch Fit, its smartwatch with an elongated rectangular screen, oximeter, GPS, and ten-day battery life. Now comes the Huawei Watch Fit New, a new version in which not much has changed.
The Huawei Watch Fit New is the same smartwatch as last year, with practically identical specs, but new software and new colors in its official straps.

Huawei has just unveiled a new smartwatch, the Huawei Watch Fit New. Despite including “new” in its name, the watch is virtually identical to the original Huawei Watch Fit, for better or worse.
The design is the same, with an elongated rectangular case with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display and 280 x 456-pixel resolution, with a single physical button on one side. On the outside, the only difference is in the official strap colors available, which now include red and pale blue colors.
The Huawei Watch Fit New can do exactly the same as its predecessor: record your pulse and blood oxygen level continuously, analyze your sleep, keep you up to date with notifications arriving on your mobile, make payments, and, of course, record your sports sessions.
The activity log sees a small increase, with support for 97 sports activities. That is to say, one more: jumping rope is now supported, albeit it is not required and will be added subsequently with an update.
Versions and prices of the Huawei Watch Fit New
The Huawei Watch Fit New has been announced for the moment in China, without us knowing yet if it will be sold in other regions. It is worth exactly the same as the previous model (799 yuan), which is $123 at the current exchange rate.
