How to bring back the original Safari address bar in iOS 15?
Safari has undergone some design changes in iOS 15. Apple has decided to move the address and search bar to the bottom. The result is very different from what we saw in the initial betas, the company decided to bring more options.
We have two ways to return to the previous design of Safari in iOS 15. Just follow the steps:
- Open Safari.
- Click on the “Aa” button.
- Choose “Show Top Address Bar.”
If you want to use the second path, Go to Settings > Safari and you will see the option to either choose “Show Bottom Tab Bar” or “Show Top Address Bar.” By choosing the latter, you will bring back the original Safari address bar in iOS 15.
Why Apple redesigned Safari in iOS 15?
You may wonder why Apple made a change like this. The truth is that the new design has its advantages, including gaining more space while browsing Safari on the iPhone. When we scroll through a website, we will be more comfortable on larger iPhones.
We can access the address bar and search Google with our thumb, without having to use two hands. Another improvement is that it allows us to move between tabs quickly.
