Go to your Xbox X Series or Xbox Series S controller and press and hold the Xbox center button for about 6 seconds.
Your controller will turn off. To turn the controller back on, press and hold the Xbox center button again for a few seconds.
How to turn off Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S controller with a console?
Go to your Xbox X Series or Xbox Series S controller and press the Xbox center button for about 3 seconds.
A drop-down menu will appear on the screen. Click on “Turn off the controller” to turn it off.
You can then turn it back on by pressing and holding the center Xbox button and if necessary you will have to pair it again.
