Leaks have made us doubt, but it’s clear that the next flagship from the company will include a 200MP camera.
Xiaomi likes the number 200, since, apart from that 200 W fast charging, the 200 MP camera will be another of the wake-up calls for its next flagship.
Also, 200MP smartphone image sensor with the ISOCELL HP1 was announced by Samsung days ago, and it also fits in line with the company’s prior claim about being the first to offer a mobile solution for capturing 5K video.
Xiaomi wants to be the first
Aside from getting the Mi brand out of the way, Xiaomi will release at least one of two versions with a 200MP camera by next year.
The other sensor would be 50MP for a dual configuration of 200 + 50. A Xiaomi 12 that if it goes well on track would use that Samsung ISOCELL HP1 image sensor to prepare a good one for photography from the Xiaomi 12.
Of which we already know a great deal, as we wait for some sort of confirmation that may come from the next event presentation featuring a Chinese company on September 15.
Another of the news, though for its mid-and high-range models, is the camera sensor’s resolution: 108MP and 64MP for a twin configuration.
Of course, Xiaomi would want to be the first company to market a smartphone with a 200MP camera.
Another of those showy features that the Chinese manufacturer knows how to utilize effectively is to attract the attention of millions of people who have it as their global standard.
