Many are the rumors that in recent weeks point out that the renewal of the iPad mini will offer us a large number of changes. The latest rumor related to the renewal of this device points out that it will have an 8.3-inch screen, a rumor that comes from Ross Young.

This change means 0.4 inches more than the current model while maintaining the same size as today, so the increase in screen size is associated with a reduction of the bezels and the elimination of the home button, following the same design as the 4th generation iPad Air.

As we published earlier today, iPad mini 6 is 8.3".

Previously, the reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated on several occasions that the new iPad mini, which will be the sixth generation, could increase the screen size to 8.5 and 9 inches. Mark Gurman has also confirmed this increase in screen size, an increase associated with a reduction in bezels but without venturing a specific screen size.

The disappearance of the home button was not in the report where Ming-Chi Kuo pointed to the increased screen size, but the latest rumors point out that it will have a design very similar to the 4th generation iPad Air, without a home button, with Face ID or with this on the power button located on the side of the device.

The 6th generation iPad mini will be powered by the A15 or A16 processor and is expected to have a USB-C connection port replacing the lightning connector that has accompanied us in recent years in the iPhone and iPad range until the launch of the iPad Pro range.

To all these new features, we would have to add a mini-LED screen as stated a few days ago by the DigiTimes media, although this information was denied by Young himself.
