POCO M3 Pro 5G is the new bet for the mid-range: an affordable smartphone with the latest technologies on the market.

When we thought that there could not be anything as cheap, and at the same time complete as POCO M3, the POCO brand has managed to create what many have long been waiting for: a Pro version of the smartphone that attracted more looks during the first half of the year. And not precisely because of its striking yellow color -that too-.

POCO M3 Pro 5G is the new proposal for the mid-range of 2021. A smartphone aimed at bringing the experience with 5G, screens with high refresh rate and extra power compared to the previous generation. And all this, for a price that still does not exceed $250 in any of its configurations.

Few brands are doing as much to democratize 5G connectivity as POCO. With POCO M3 Pro 5G, the brand has decided to bring the latest advances in mobile connectivity to an even wider audience, giving the possibility to access an affordable smartphone capable of connecting to the new types of networks.

POCO M3 Pro 5G specs

Thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, with integrated 5G modem, POCO M3 Pro 5G promises download and upload speeds far superior to those of 4G-only models, reaching up to 2.77 Gbps download. It also features support for technologies such as 5G Carrier Aggregation, Dual 5G SIM, and MediaTek 5G UltraSave, a technology that promises much more efficient 5G connectivity than in other smartphones.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor not only brings improved connectivity. It also brings major advances in power and performance, being one of the first chips in its class to be manufactured in a 7-nanometer form factor.

Its eight-core CPU with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores capable of running at speeds of up to 2.2GHz ensures excellent performance in any situation, and both its RAM and internal storage are ready to read and write data at maximum speed.

And as if that were not enough, the efficiency of the 7-nanometer format translates into considerable energy savings compared to the previous generation, which is also supported by the huge 5,000mAh battery capacity and its promise of more than two days of battery life.

Even today, the POCO M3 design remains a benchmark in its segment. And POCO M3 Pro 5G was not going to be left behind. This time, the company has chosen to give a twist to this aesthetic line, including features such as a hole centered at the top of the screen, which houses the 8MP front camera.

On the back, we see how the POCO silkscreen is once again the protagonist, within a black rectangle with rounded corners that gives contrast to the back, as well as housing the renewed triple camera system, led by a 48MP sensor and accompanied by two other complementary sensors that give more versatility to the photographic experience.

And how could it be otherwise, the “POCO yellow” color is again part of the range of shades in which POCO M3 Pro 5G is available, as well as the black finish, soberer, and a third blue color with metallic effect?
