We’ve been waiting for the new devices of the company, and finally, Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G are out and we are going to talk about their specs, price, and release date.

Both devices come to take over the throne from the Realme 7 and Realme 7 5G launched less than half a year ago. These devices are introducing interesting improvements for those who are looking for the affordable mid-range segment.

Realme 8 5G specs

The Realme 8 5G is, as its name suggests, has 5G connectivity as its main feature. It is a smartphone with a 6.5-inch IPS screen and a 90Hz refresh rate and 90% screen-to-body ratio.

It includes a fingerprint reader located on one side, and it has a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 48MP main sensor, accompanied by two 2MP sensors for macro and portrait mode.

There’s a new model supporting 5G.

It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, with built-in 5G modem. It is accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage expandable via microSD.

It has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W quick charging support.

Realme 8 specs

This device doesn’t have 5G connectivity but offers interesting features.

In addition to being a lighter and more compact handset, it features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate. Plus this model has an integrated under-screen fingerprint sensor.

This model comes with 4 cameras on its back. In addition to the main sensor, which in this case increases its resolution increases to 64MP, this model comes with an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and two 2MP complementary sensors.

This model comes with a MediaTek Helio G95 processor. There are two different configurations, with 4GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage expandable by microSD.

It has a 5,000mAh battery with 30W quick charging support.

Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G release date and price

These devices are going to be sold in the European market, we don’t know if they will reach the United States. Both of the models will be sold for 199 euros (about $240) and will be available next month. The version with 8GB RAM may be a little more expensive.
