Honor has unveiled a new low-end Android smartphone, the Honor Play 20 and we will tell you about its specs, price and release date. The new model arrives with a little-known processor and a low price.
2021 promises to be a particularly important year for Honor as it will be when its independence from Huawei materializes after being sold to a consortium of Chinese companies.
The brand was once one of the most relevant in some countries, especially among young people, and it is once again targeting them with a basic and very cheap smartphone, the Honor Play 20.

This new Honor Play 20 arrives with very clear ideas: to offer a possibility to those who want to spend less. This translates into very contained specifications.
We have a 6.5-inch screen with HD+ resolution, a Unisoc T610 processor, and only two rear cameras.
However, there is something in which it does not fall short, the memory. We will have three variants, all with 128GB of storage, and with RAM of 4, 6, and no less than 8GB, something very rare in this price range.
The front camera is 5MP and behind we have two, a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
The battery promises us generous autonomy with its 5000mAh, although the quick charge is only at 10W. Of course, at least it uses USB C, not micro USB as we have sometimes seen in phones in this category.
It comes with Android 10 on which runs Magic UI 4, Honor’s interface.
Honor Play 20 price and release date
At the moment this phone will be on sale in China and it remains to be seen whether it will reach international markets with Google services, something that, in theory, could happen.
