Developer Milestone and toymaker Mattel have announced an event for Thursday, April 8 where they will show how to play this arcade driving game.
Fans of arcade driving games have a date next Thursday. Developer Milestone and toy company Mattel, Inc. have announced that Hot Wheels Unleashed will show its gameplay for the first time on April 8. The companies have not specified how long the event, which can be followed on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, will last.
Milestone announced this game at the end of February 2021 with a cinematic trailer where they show the main features of Hot Wheels Unleashed: A wide variety of vehicles, tracks with distinctive elements such as magnets and drawbridges, a very arcade driving, and the ability to edit and create circuits.
“Hot Wheels Unleashed allows players to drive the cars as if they were playing with the iconic mini toy vehicles,” Milestone says in a press release. “The gameplay style includes adrenaline-filled races, a wide selection of Hot Wheels vehicles with different attributes and unique features, which players can customize with different skins and amazing tracks, set in everyday locations, with special sections and interactive objects.”
The title will arrive on September 30 in physical and digital stores for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch; On PC it will be distributed digitally via Steam. The standard edition will cost $39.99 on PC and $49.99 on all other platforms; there will be three other editions: Challenge Accepted, Collectors, and Ultimate Stunt.
