TransUnion, which has analyzed billions of transactions, confirms that the COVID-19 pandemic has also affected the digital world big time, fraud against companies has increased 46% since the pandemic started.

Fraud against companies worldwide grew by 46% and 24% of these attacks are related mainly due to phishing campaigns against consumers. Also, card fraud, identity theft policy violation cases were detected.

The pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the acceleration in the adoption of digital usage patterns among the entire population due to confinement were a real spearhead for attackers.
