After months of rumors, OnePlus has finally presented its first smartwatch that promises a 14-day battery life and today we are going to talk about OnePlus Watch’s specs, price, and release date.
The company’s new smartwatch is ready to compete with models from companies such as Amazfit or Huawei, offering an experience focused on health and sport, without forgetting good design and interoperability with the company’s other products.

The OnePlus Watch maintains a minimalist aesthetic by following the lines of the brand’s phones. It features a 1.39-inch diagonal circular display, which uses OLED technology and has a resolution of 326 pixels per inch.
The watch case is constructed in stainless steel and arrives in three different colors: black, silver, and a third special color called “Cobalt”, which will be available as a limited edition with a flat sapphire display and gold-colored body. In any case, there is no lack of protection against water and dust under an IP68 certification level.
On the right side of the case, there are two different buttons, designed to perform various actions on the phone’s software, such as executing pre-configured actions.
Its strap, made of silicone, is interchangeable and it is possible to use any other compatible strap with a width of 22 millimeters.
We find automatic monitoring of activities and sleep, step counter, heart rate reader and SpO2 monitor, and GPS to measure our outdoor routes. There are 110 sport modes to choose from.
OnePlus Watch does not have WearOS, Google’s Android-based operating system for smartwatches. This means it lacks the ability to install third-party apps from Google Play.
That software integrates 50 different dials to choose from and features such as the ability to remotely control some of the company’s devices. Unfortunately, this smartwatch doesn’t include NFC, and therefore the option to make payments through platforms such as Google Pay is not there.
OnePlus Watch price and release date
The OnePlus Watch is an affordable wearable and obviously, it has no intentions to compete with much more advanced models such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 or the Apple Watch Series 6. It will be available for purchase on OnePlus.com beginning April 14 for $159.
