A lot of power coming with the POCO X3 Pro
The POCO X3 had a Snapdragon 732G, a solvent mid-range processor. The X3 Pro debuts the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 860, a beast capable of going up to 2.96GHz, with Kryo 485 cores, the ones we already saw in the high-end Snapdragon 855 a couple of years ago. The GPU is the Adreno 640, the same as the Snapdragon 855. The 860 is a revision of the 855, a bit far from the 888, but well above the 700 range.
The POCO X3 Pro can go up to 8 + 256GB of memory, a high configuration to accompany such a powerful processor.
The base memory is 6 + 128GB, although it can go up to 8 + 256GB, a configuration more typical of a high-end. To power this hardware it has a 5,160mAh battery with 33W quick charging, with the charger included inside the box.
The screen is 6.67 inches with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, but with LCD technology and a typical brightness of 450 nits, a rather low figure, especially compared to siblings like the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which exceeds 1,000 nits in AMOLED. At the level of connectivity, this is a 4G mobile, although it has NFC, infrared and Bluetooth 5.0.
Four cameras, but fewer MP
The POCO X3 relied on a 64MP sensor. In this pro variant, the main sensor drops to 48MP, accompanied by the classic three cameras: ultra-wide-angle, macro, and depth. In this model, Xiaomi seems to have bet more on power than on the camera, although it remains to be seen in the analysis of how it performs.
The selfie camera is 20MP, located in the small hole in the screen of the device. It has a night mode and portrait mode, despite not being accompanied by a second sensor.
