Samsung introduces its new line of high-resolution monitors. Following the update of its LED monitors and displays, and demonstrating once again why it remains one of the leading companies in the field of displays, Samsung has just presented its new line of high-resolution UHD monitors for 2021, with up to 12 models of different sizes, features, and purposes, which will encompass them in its three new Samsung S8, S7, and S6 families.

Starting with their common points, all the monitors presented will be characterized by offering realistic image quality and greater comfort with an advanced ergonomic design, with more than a billion colors for a vivid and vibrant image, enhanced by HDR 10 technology; Intelligent Eye Care certification from TÜV Rheinland, being the first in the industry to receive this recognition; A special eye protection mode to reduce blue light emissions that can cause visual fatigue, and Flicker-Free, which will protect users’ eyes from any flickering on the screen.

Samsung S8 and S7

As the flagship model in the high-resolution monitor lineup, the S8 is packed with key features for both businesses and creative professionals. This model provides Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution and is available in 27-inch and 32-inch options. In addition to supporting UHD and over a billion colors, the S8 offers a 99% sRGB color gamut for users to enjoy more vivid content.

Like the S8, the S7 series will offer two models of 27 and 32 inches, both with UHD resolutions and a vibrant color gamut accompanied by ultra-thin bezels that will allow us to focus our attention on the display itself. Also, thanks to its 178-degree wide viewing angle panel, and its height-adjustable stand (HAS) with a variety of tilt, swivel, and pivot control points, and compatibility with VESA mounts, we will be able to mount these monitors in any environment.

Thus, the most comprehensive series will be the S6, available in 34, 32, 27, and 24-inch sizes, although in this case, we will find the small downgrade to QHD resolution (2560 × 1440), but also PBP (Picture by Picture) and PIP (Picture in Picture) functions, allowing for effortless and efficient multitasking.

The S60UA monitors not only support Daisy Chain technology, enabling extended multi-display and multi-display playback, but also LAN cable (RJ45 compatibility), transforming the monitor into a docking station hub. The built-in Wake On Lan (WOL) functionality allows the connected computer to be turned on remotely from another device.

The 34-inch Ultra-Wide Quad High-Definition (UWQHD) S65UA monitor offers 1000R curvature, further enhancing productivity with a 21:9 aspect ratio for optimal multitasking. The S6 series also supports customizable flip, tilt, and rotate functions, allowing users to find their perfect viewing angle as they can rotate the display and even flip between portrait and landscape modes.
