Sony has just announced the new Play at Home games it is giving away this month. There are some great games, especially if you have virtual reality goggles. And a bombshell… Horizon Zero Dawn with free download!

Sony is giving away 10 great games

Sony just announced a few minutes ago the free PS4 games that it will offer through Play at Home. It’s an initiative that it launched with the first pandemic lockdown, and that it has brought back this month.

Play at Home is Sony’s way of supporting people who have had a hard time these last few months, staying at home. To do so, they are going to give away games for a limited time, and you keep them forever. The first was the classic Ratchet & Clank, which you can still download for free until March 31.

From March 25 it’s going to add 9 more games, including indie classics like Abzu, Subnautica, or The Witness, but also some of the best virtual reality games ever, like Moss or Astro Bot:

Here’s that games list

  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Abzu
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Rez Infinite (with VR support)
  • Subnautica
  • The Witness
  • Astro Bot Rescue Mission (VR only)
  • Moss (VR only)
  • Paper Beast (VR only)
  • Thumper (VR only)

These games will be free to download between March 25 and April 22, no string attached: you add them to your PlayStation account and keep them forever.

And that’s not all! In the press release, Sony also announces that from April 19 you can also download Horizon Zero Dawn for free, undoubtedly one of the top games of the last generation, among the best of the PS4 catalog (in the Top 3, in my opinion):

It is also the Complete Edition, which includes the additional expansion that came out later. It will be available for free download between April 19 and May 14.

A great initiative by Sony, which has been especially generous with the games. All of them are high-quality titles, some among the best indie, VR and PS4 catalog titles.
