If a few days ago we told you about the imminent presentation of the Motorola G50, now we can confirm the design, features, and even the date of presentation of the Motorola Moto G100.
The presentation of the Motorola Moto G100 in Europe, closer than ever
As we can read in TechnikNews, the global version of the Motorola Edge S, which we already told you about previously, baptized as Motorola Moto G100 and whose codename is Hanoip, has already been fully unveiled.
We already told you a few days ago about the imminent arrival of this new Motorola handset, but now we can confirm both the design and every one of the specifications of the Motorola Moto G100, a device that shares many of its features with the Motorola Edge S.
Focusing, first, on the design, we appreciate that it is almost identical to the Motorola Edge S, with a front where highlights its double hole in screen located in the upper left corner where its dual selfie camera is housed, and a back where we find its camera module located in the form of a square in the upper left and the manufacturer’s logo in the center.
If we talk about specifications, this new device has a 6.7-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, something that is already becoming a standard in the upper-middle-range, and an aspect ratio of 21:9.
The processor that powers this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, an eight-core processor compatible with the new 5G networks and that arrives accompanied by two versions with 6 and 8GB RAM and 128 and 256GB internal storage.
In the photographic section, this Motorola Moto G100 has a triple rear camera composed of a 64MP main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Just like the Motorola Edge S, it will have functions such as vlogger mode, audio zoom, and a night mode that will allow us to take high-quality pictures in low light.
The front camera, meanwhile, has two sensors of 16 and 8MP to get good selfies and have a good quality video call.
The autonomy of this new Motorola device is provided by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging through Motorola’s Turbo Charge technology.
As for the rest of the specifications, we should note that this Motorola Moto G100 has a dedicated button for Google Assistant, which is not present on the Motorola Edge S, the fingerprint reader located on the side, dual-band Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C, dual SIM, a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack and as the software it has Android 11 running under its customization layer, My UX.
Motorola Moto G100 price and release date
This Motorola Moto G100 will be officially presented on March 25, as it has advanced in his Twitter account one of the editors of the media consulted and, although we still do not know what their prices will be released to the market, if we look at the prices in China of Motorola Edge S we would be talking about costs that would be around 300-400 euros depending on the chosen version of RAM and internal storage.
