Xiaomi Mi 10S to be unveiled this week. With the Xiaomi Mi 11 already unveiled and on sale, it would be logical for the company to start unveiling the other versions that will undoubtedly accompany it. Instead, Xiaomi has announced the imminent unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi 10S.

The Xiaomi Mi 10S will be official next March 10 at 14:00 China time. The umpteenth model of the Mi 10 series will arrive, as announced by the company on Weibo, with changes on three fronts: processor, multimedia, and design.

A new Xiaomi Mi 10S with Snapdragon 870

The Xiaomi Mi 10 was official in February 2020 and with the latest of the moment: Snapdragon 865, 90Hz AMOLED display, 108MP camera, and 4,750mAh battery with fast charging and 30W wireless charging. A year later, it gets a new version.

This special version will be called Xiaomi Mi 10S and will be official in just two days. The concept is that of a Xiaomi Mi 10, but with some improvements. Xiaomi has advanced us some of them: it will have Snapdragon 870, stereo speakers signed by Harman Kardon, and a new design. Also, the company has indicated that there will be “other surprises”.

We have been able to see this design in the images shared by the company and in which, for now, only the back of the phone is shown. In this rear, we see the elongated module for the cameras, practically identical to the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. Since Xiaomi does not mention photography among the new features, it is assumed that the same specifications will be maintained in this regard, with a quad-camera of 108MP.

For the moment, Xiaomi has not shown us the front, although the phone seems to match the M2012J2SC model that was certified in TENAA. If so, it would have a screen with curved shafts and the front camera perforated in one corner, similar to the Xiaomi Mi 10. We will know for sure on March 10.
