Vivo launched S9 and S9E and here are the specs, price and release date. Vivo is a brand that has gained a presence worldwide, where it has already updated all its phones to Android 11. The manufacturer continues to present new phones, which we expect to arrive in our country as well. Its two new phones are the Vivo S9 and S9e, two smartphones that fall within the upper-middle range of the brand.
These new Vivo S9 and S9e are devices with a similar design to the S7t, presented recently. What is interesting is that the S9 becomes the first phone to use Dimensity 1100, a MediaTek processor that has not yet been officially presented.

Two identical design
These two devices feature the same design, with an AMOLED panel of 6.44 inches in size, which is also the same size and design that we already saw in the S7t a few weeks ago. On the front of the Vivo S9, we have two cameras, the same as the Vivo S7t, while the S9e leaves us with a single 32MP sensor. The panel also has a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Vivo S9 becomes the first to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100, a processor that is not official yet, so not much is known. Although it seems it will be a high-end chip of the brand, which also endows it with 5G connectivity as standard in this case. The Vivo S9e uses Dimensity 820, a mid-range chip that we already know, which we have seen in various phones so far.
The rear cameras are the same on these two devices: A 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 2MP macro sensor. A good combination of sensors, which we are seeing a lot in mid-range and high-end Android. Also, both come with Origin OS as the interface, based on Android 11.
In terms of battery, the Vivo S9 arrives with 4,000mAh capacity, with support for 33W quick charging. The S9e has a slightly larger 4,100 mAh battery, although nothing has been mentioned about its quick charging.
Vivo S9 and S9e price and release date
The Vivo S9 will go on sale over the next few days in Asia, with a price of $370. It will be available in the colors Diamond Crystal, Aurora Blue, and Obsidian Black. At the moment there is no word on its launch countries, pending news from the brand. The S9e will also be launched in the coming days, but no price has been confirmed yet.
