Apple could unveil the new iPad Pro 2021 at a spring event that could take place this March. What can we expect from the new models?

Apple’s spring event could be very close to happening. If the rumors are right, the event will take place this March, and the new iPad Pro 2021 is among the new devices to be announced by the Cupertino company.

Now that this possible presentation is approaching, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman has announced through a YouTube video what we can expect from the new iPad Pro of 2021.

In terms of design, Gurman agrees with the rumors we met a few weeks ago in which a series of factory CAD images were shown. Everything points to the fact that Apple’s new tablets will feature a design very similar to that of the 2020 iPad Pro with some very subtle changes, such as the position of the internal speakers or a slight reduction of the bezels.

Another of the analyst’s forecasts also matches previous rumors. Gurman claims that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro of 2021 will feature a mini LED display. This will slightly increase the thickness (approximately 0.5mm) but will increase the brightness and contrast of the display substantially.

The biggest upgrade to the new iPad Pro in 2021 will be at the hardware level. According to the analyst, Apple will introduce a new processor that could be called A14X Bionic. In terms of performance, Gurman compares this chip to the M1 Silicon that has skyrocketed the power of Apple’s computers. Also, the processor upgrade will enable interoperability with Macs, making it possible to use macOS apps on iPadOS and vice versa.

The new iPad Pro is also expected to have 5G connectivity.

Apart from the news on Apple’s most advanced tablets, in the video Gurman talks about other products being prepared by the Cupertino company. He points out that Apple’s rumored virtual reality glasses are on the way and are scheduled to arrive in 2022.
