It had been leaking for a while and it’s finally official: Vivo has announced the new Vivo S7t, here is its specs, price and release date.

It is the third in the series after the original Vivo S7 from August 2020 and its November sequel, the Vivo S7e.

Interestingly, the Vivo S7t is more similar to the Vivo S7 than the Vivo S7t, boasting virtually the same features – dual front-facing camera included – except for one difference: Instead of having Snapdragon 765G, it carries a MediaTek Dimensity 820.

Vivo S7t specs

  • Display: 6.44″ AMOLED and Full HD+
  • Dimensions and weight: 158.82 x 74.2 x 7.3 x 7.3 9mm and 169g
  • Processor: Dimensity 820
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Front camera: 44MP f/2.0 and 8MP f/2.2 UGA

  • Battery: 4000mAh and 33W quick-charge
  • OS: Android 11 and OriginOS 1.0
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C
  • Others: Fingerprint reader under the screen
  • Price: $416,98 at the exchange rate

Vivo S7t is now with Dimensity SoC

The shortest way to define the Vivo S7t is to say that it is a Vivo S7 with MediaTek Dimensity 820 instead of Snapdragon 765G, both with 7nm construction and similar features. Another difference is that the Vivo S7t consists of a single version, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The handset consists of a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, at a refresh rate of about 60Hz standard. Like the Vivo S7, and unlike the Vivo S7e, a dual-lens front-facing camera is included, in a centered notch.

Camera: Five lenses in total

In the photographic field, the Vivo S7t has five lenses in total: Three at the back and two at the front. Behind, it has a triple camera with a 64MP main sensor and f/1.89 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle that doubles functions such as macro, and a third 2MP monochrome sensor, for portraits.

In front, there is also a multi-lens camera: Two in total and on a notch. We have again a great resolution, with a 48MP main sensor and f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP wide-angle.

Time does not pass in vain for the Vivo S7t, which now comes with Android 11 and OriginOS 1.0 under the arm. As for the battery, we have a 4,000mAh capacity with support for 33W charging. The handset does not have a minijack.
