Apple has just released macOS Big Sur 11.2 RC 3, while we’ll be waiting for the release of the final version, Apple wants to polish all the details by offering this version for developers.
After iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, tvOS 14.4, and watchOS 7.3 releases, Apple continues to develop the operating system that gives life to the Mac. After seeing the RC 1 and then RC 2, here comes the third Release Candidate of macOS Big Sur 11.2.
Apple launched macOS Big Sur 11.2 RC 3 for developers
The update is only available to developers, it has no appreciable changes and this version is probably focused on polishing some specific bugs before the arrival of the final version that we expect for next week.
Even though we can install this update on our Mac, it is still a Beta version. Even the second version contains some bugs. So we don’t recommend you to install it on your computers for daily use yet.
If you are already in the beta cycle, you will find the macOS Big Sur 11.2 RC 3 update in System Preferences as an OTA update. During the first hours, Apple‘s servers may receive more demand than usual, so the waiting time may be longer.
