Cyberpunk 2077’s first big update crashes the game progress.
It seems that CD Projekt RED keeps getting into trouble, and is that the first and expected big update of Cyberpunk 2077, which brought the game to version 1.1, adds a bug that makes you can not start the mission “Down in the street”, which blocks the progress of the main story of the game.
The studio claims to be working on a Hotfix to solve the problem as soon as possible, but we don’t really know how many people will be affected by this problem since there are 2 types of users: The one who already played the game at launch, or the one who is waiting 1 year to enjoy it fully polished because it is clear that the game has many updates ahead.
We are investigating the problem of the conversation with Takemura not starting during the “Down on the Street” mission.
For a possible solution, follow the steps below (note that a previous save game is required):
- Load a saved game before Takemura and V leave Wakako’s office.
- Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office immediately.
- Right after finishing the conversation and when the quest refreshes, jump to 23:00h.
- See if the holo call starts and the dialogue with Takemura begins.”
