Many fans of The Elder Scrolls saga, or even those who still enjoy playing The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, will know of the existence of a gigantic and ambitious mod that turns the whole game. With a new and genuine history, plus some mechanics that redefine the game, many players think that this was, and still is, a real gift. Having been supporting him over the years with updates, it seems they think it’s time to move on.
The creators of Skyrim’s giant Enderal mod are creating their first commercial game
Enderal: Forgotten Stories is available on Steam, but its creators already have similar experiences in other mods of the saga The Elder Scrolls, as Nehrim for The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, perhaps that’s why it has had tremendous success. Now, however, they want to take a step towards a commercial project, around which they “hope to announce something this very year”.
SureAI, the German study in question, announced yesterday that this last patch for Enderal would be the remaining update. The patch released will solve some problems like talents that do not do the same damage, and bows that sometimes disappear when thrown. Some fonts will also be fixed to display correctly.
The modders of Enderal: Forgotten Stories make it clear to players that advancing from the mod means that they will not have time to continue updating it or even port it to Skyrim Special Edition. However, you will need the “Oldrim” version of Bethesda’s RPG to play Enderal.
Although it can’t be found through the conventional search engine, the original version of Skyrim still has its page hidden in Steam. Certainly, a mod like this will be missed, but it’s nice to see that they know their talent and can take advantage of it to create a game perse.
