Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is announced at CES 2021, let’s look at the specs, price and release date of the thinnest ThinkPad ever.
A new convertible laptop has just been added to the ThinkPad X1 family. But it’s not just another computer. According to Lenovo, this newcomer Titanium Yoga is the thinnest ThinkPad ever launched. It is at 11.5mm, but this is by no means its only quality. It also stands out because of its titanium coating, a material that is largely responsible for its lightness and presumably robustness.
In addition, this laptop comes with the latest in Intel processors and graphics, with a QHD LCD IPS screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and well-measured specifications that clearly reflect that this is one of the most versatile proposals of the ThinkPad family. The icing on the cake is an ambitious wireless connectivity in which the presence of a Wi-Fi 6 controller and, above all, 5G, stands out.

Thanks to titanium material, a more robust ThinkPad is here
You only have to look at its specifications to realize that the main asset of this equipment is its portability. In addition to its thick content, it weighs a very reasonable 1.15kg. The device’s casing is made of titanium, a light material that, in theory, should give it a very high rigidity. It is clear that Lenovo has chosen this material both for its premium vocation and for its mechanical properties.
When we look at the screen of this convertible device, we see that Lenovo has opted for an IPS-type LCD panel at 13.5-inches with QHD resolution (2256 x 1504 pixels). It has 450-nit brightness and support for Dolby Vision HDR content.
The Chinese giant has also confirmed that the panel it has chosen is low consumption in a clear attempt to increase the battery life as much as possible. According to Lenovo, it offers up to 10.9 hours.
Lenovo will offer configurations with 11th generation Intel Core microprocessors, Iris Xe graphics, up to 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and SSDs with a maximum capacity of 1 TB and PCIe NVMe interface. In terms of sound, ThinkPad X1 will have Dolby Atmos audio.
As far as the operating system is concerned, it will be available with the Home and Pro editions of Windows 10. Finally, in addition to optional 5G connectivity (compatible with 4G LTE networks), the laptop incorporates Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1
