It’s been barely a month since Apple introduced the AirPods Max, and it seems like the company is already preparing to launch a new smaller and cheaper version of the headset.

Apple will release a cheaper and smaller Airpods Max
According to the rumors, in this cheaper version, the chassis will be replaced by a body entirely made of plastic materials. Unfortunately, no further details about its possible specifications have been revealed yet, although Apple will surely maintain the features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) or spatial audio technology.
To be able to create a cheaper version, they might reduce the size of headphones. Or maybe they will reduce its battery and autonomy, currently, AirPods Max is capable of holding up to 20 hours.

There is no information about its price yet. Currently, there are no other details about the release date too, but it is expected that Apple will launch headphones along with other hardware this year.
This new cheap variant of the AirPods Max would occupy a position directly in competition with other high-end models such as the Bose QuietComfort 35 II or those highly recommended by Sony users, WH-1000XM4.
