Today we learned that the popular messaging app WhatsApp is working on multiple device support. Compared to other messaging platforms such as Messenger, Discord, or Telegram, so far it is only possible to have the app on one device. For example, if you want to use WhatsApp on your tablet you cannot do it through the app, but you have to choose the web version which is also quite limited because it requires your main device to be connected to the Internet.

- Telegram will bring ads in channels and paid features
Among all the WhatsApp features that may come in 2021, the most expected one may easily be the option to use it on multiple devices.
WhatsApp is finally working on multiple device support
Since 2018 there have been rumors about an update to solve this problem. Finally, in 2021 it seems like this change will be a reality. The latest WhatsApp beta a feature that will allow you to use the beta with other devices without having your main device connected.
This way, the upgrade will not allow the app to be used on other computers, but at least it will offer a real alternative that does not require keeping the phone connected to the internet to be able to use the app. According to the screenshots taken, the new feature will allow this offline mode of WhatsApp Web to be used on up to four different devices.
While the discovery of these options in the code is a breakthrough, it does not mean that we should expect their implementation in the coming months. The offline version of the app lacks some of the normal functions such as the option to archive and mute chats, delete chats and calls. We are not sure when we will be able to use this feature.
