Xiaomi announced the launch of its new top-of-the-line smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 11, built around a 6.81-inch AMOLED panel at a Quad HD+ resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a Touch Sampling Rate of 480Hz, a maximum luminosity of 1500-nits, and all protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus laminate. This panel is the first to be powered by the SoC Snapdragon 888, which can be combined with 8 GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB/256GB non-extendable storage, as there is no microSD slot.
The camera has a 108 MP main sensor with a 7 lens design, together with a 13 MP Ultra Wide Angle and a 5 MP macro sensor, and a 20 MP Selfie camera integrated with a hole in the screen.
The rest of the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 11 are completed with a 4600mAh battery with a 55W fast cable charge, 50W fast wireless charge, and 10W reverse charge. The terminal is compatible with Quick Charge 4+, Quick Charge 3+, and Power Delivery 3.0 chargers. The machine does not come with a charger, but the company allows you to take a 65W charger with you at no extra charge if you do not have a compatible charger.
In connectivity we have 5G Dual, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, has Harman Kardon stereo speakers, we have a Goodix optical scanner that serves as a fingerprint reader and heart sensor, but Xiaomi did not announce this feature.
Xiaomi Mi 11 release date and price
The phone was announced at an exchange rate of 610 USD in China for the simpler 8 GB variant, and 720 USD for the 12 GB capacity model. It will be available starting from 28th of December.
