Xbox has set a new world record by playing Destiny 2 on a mountain.

2020 has been a tremendous year for Xbox, with the launch of its new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. In addition to the announcement of its new first-party games, Xbox has reached and collected a lot of success. Although the gaming sector still had an extra surprise for it before the end of 2020.

Obviously, the launch of the new next-gen consoles has given the community new places to play, and that’s what they had to think about to set this new world record. Although it has been more to celebrate that Xbox Series X / S have been almost completely exhausted in Australia, as in other parts of the world, so they have decided to break a record.

Using high-performance protectors, Xbox has managed to bring a gaming set to a place in the world where a gamer has been able to play Destiny 2 Beyond the Light on the side of Copper Mountain in Colorado. The projectors have a total power of 120,000 lumens and the most shocking thing is that, based on what you can see in the video, the game works perfectly.

This fact has broken a Guinness World Record for the largest projected game screen, with a total projection spread over 54.90m, a width of 32.29m, and a total area of 1.77m². It is certainly something quite impressive and should be assured as a Guinness World Record for some time to come.

It will be interesting to see what Xbox will do from now on, especially considering that it still has a lot of Xbox Series X/S to launch as, like PlayStation 5, they are still suffering from a shortage of units in stores.

For the moment, if you want to play Destiny 2 Beyond Light normally you can do so on any platform, as it is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Stadia.
