Asus announces ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT with a water cooling system.
Asus ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT specs
Asus unveiled one of its top-of-the-line GPUs, the Asus ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6900 XT. It comes with a hybrid cooling system in the form of a conventional AiO liquid adapted to cool the silicon on the graphics card next to the memory. The new grahics card uses a 240 mm radiator with two 120 mm ARGB fans. The rest of the components, such as the VRM, are cooled by aluminum dissipaters supported by a blower fan, thus allowing to expel the residual heat generated by these components.
Unfortunately, the news is limited to the cooling system, so we can’t talk about frequencies. But the tubes are 600 mm long to be compatible with large chassis for E-ATX motherboards the VRM uses premium components called Super Alloy Power II. But they don’t reveal the number of phases, and we couldn’t miss extending the ARGB lighting to the graphics card itself, which is powered by three 8+8+8-pin PCI-Express connectors.
