Motorola Moto G10 Play leak: specs and price

A leak in Geekbench has let us see part of the specifications of the Motorola Moto G10 Play and its price. The phone is identified as Motorola Moto G Play (2021) in the software, and it will be the successor to the Motorola Moto G9 Play, which means that we are looking at a model that will cover the lower-mid range.

In terms of specifications, the Motorola Moto G10 Play would be below the Motorola Moto G9 Plus, but both will have points in common in terms of design and quality of finishes. As you can see in the image, the Motorola Moto G10 Play will adopt a full screen front with a circular floating island, where a 8MP front camera will be installed.

In the back there is a square space where we see a three camera setup with an LED flash. Below this is a fingerprint reader, integrated in a circle with the Motorola logo. We do not have details about build material, but taking into account the price range it is aimed at (less than 250$) we can expect that plastic materials will be used.

Expected specs and price of Motorola Moto G10 Play

Its official price has not leaked yet, and is understandable since we are facing a phone that will not reach the market until 2021, but since it is the successor to the Moto G9 Play, it will most likely end up around 200$, a figure that seems a little high, especially considering its specifications:

  • 6.5-inch HD+ IPS screen
  • SoC Snapdragon 460 with eight-core CPU
  • Adreno 610 GPU
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage capacity
  • Three rear cameras: 48MP main, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor
  • 8MP selfie cam
  • 4,850mAh battery compatible with quick recharge
  • Android 10 OS
  • Fingerprint reader in the back

We can not rule out that Motorola also ends up launching a version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity, in fact it would make sense since, with the configuration that we have indicated above, that Motorola Moto G10 Play would be behind the Motorola Moto G9 Play in terms of memory and storage.

  • Motorola announced Moto G8 Power Lite with a 6.5-inch display and three camera

It is also possible that the model listed is a prototype configured with a limited amount of RAM, and that the final version of Motorola Moto G10 Play ends up coming in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity.
